A new Dutch escape

Where a single colour runs through everything.

Delft Royale Casino Hotel is a fictional destination built around one idea and one colour. Cobalt on white tin glaze, painted by hand, has defined Dutch decorative craft since the seventeenth century—and here it runs from the tiled entrance hall to the dinner service to the panels behind the tables. The whole casino hotel is essentially a very large piece of pottery.

Take coffee beside a wall of fourteen hundred tiles, each one different. Watch a painter work the afternoon shift in the studio off the lobby. Then walk the tiled corridor into our adults-only casino salon as the low blue light comes on. Everything in this casino hotel was made slowly, and it shows.

Blauw Restaurant

No two plates the same.

Our signature restaurant serves everything on ceramics painted in the studio downstairs, which means your plate is genuinely unlike anyone else's at the table. The kitchen keeps to a short Dutch menu—North Sea fish, slow-braised beef, winter roots, thick soups—and finishes with warm apple tart and thin painted cups of coffee, a corridor away from the casino hotel salon.
